Thi is Pat's attempt at traditional Gaelic poetry. For a discription of what is required for trad. poetry please read Gilbride's summery here.

Fire in the head and grace in the heart;
burning the senses, crafting the art.
Finely She churns the phrase in the head,
golden Her bountry - words softly said.

Fire with Her keening, grace with Her care;
bestowing knowledge - physicians dare
gently to heal Her creatures around
and nuture the dying, where ere found.

Fire at the smithy, grace at the start;
working with all the intricate parts,
surely to shape and mould a fine goal.
Power and strength from a larger soul.
